Adulteration of Seeds Names Dealers in Report
Secretary Wilson released a pamphlet detailing an investigation into adulterated grass seeds. Led by Dr. B T Galloway, the Bureau of Plant Industry found widespread mixing of inferior seeds with standard stock, averaging three to forty percent adulteration. Much of the adulteration occurs with imported seeds later blended with American varieties before sale. The secretary published the dealers selling adulterated seeds in compliance with the law.
