Troy Illinois Plans Granitoid Sidewalks on Center Street
Ordinance No. 97 provides for granitoid sidewalks in Troy Madison County Illinois. Center Street from Main to Dewey receives a three foot width with grade and water shedding details. Sidewalks to be laid near property lines in business areas and 12 inches from residential lots. The Sidewalk Board supervises materials and construction, with penalties and special taxes for noncompliance.
