Safe and Sane Fourth in Troy Sees No Incidents

The Fourth of July in Troy featured safe celebrations with no injuries or major disturbances. A morning parade by Sunday school children, a Temperance picnic at Jarvis Grove, a large Athletic Park baseball crowd, and an evening Rieder Park gathering by The Jolly Five highlighted a subdued but well attended day. Fireworks were modest, and overall the event contrasted with past years due to fewer strenuous activities.
