Funds funded milk and eggs for the needy and supported a stere Opticon lecture on TB prevention, plus a two month community nurse, Grace Garrabrant, at nearly 200, and plans to hire nurse Mrs. M A Herrick for county wide school visits at about 500. Decrease in Madison County School Funds
A Madison County inquiry into school funds shows a downward trend in allocations during the term of States' Attorney Gili. The investigation, led by Bard and Battle, finds prior years’ totals above 1000 dollars per year and a decline to around 996 dollars, with even less in the current year. The decline is blamed on the county’s justices and finances.
