County Postmaster Plans Signal Major Route Overhaul
Postmasters across the county report plans to rearrange existing routes and add new carriers. If current plans succeed, county service will expand, with Troy and neighboring towns gaining oriented access as routes radiate from the local post office. Rural agents welcome the change, while officials wrestle with encroaching neighboring routes and the goal of full county-wide coverage. In Maryville, a curious spectacle drew attention as many residents suffer injuries from recent incidents, including several crippled youths and multiple hospital-adjacent cases. The community mourns Reverend Eaton, longtime pastor of Proy-City Church, who has retired to Way City with his daughter, both highly regarded.
