Accident at light plant prompts dimmed power
Patrons of the electric light plant and the public were reminded of the value of electric light when the power house shut down about 6 oclock. The drive belt on the small machine parted yesterday causing a shut down. An attempt to run with the larger machine failed as load overtaxed the engine. Electrician Sapp traveled to St. Louis to secure a belt repair and a temporary unit, with service expected tonight.
