Reading room plans and concert in Troy event
A local committee met at the Methodist church last Thursday afternoon to finalize plans for a free reading room and a fundraising concert. Mrs Woodson and Mrs Perkins helped arrange the concert at the Public School hall on Tuesday evening, with Dr Noel and others raising about forty dollars. Residents expect the reading room to offer daily, weekly and monthly periodicals and serve as a pleasant evening spot for residents and visitors alike.
