More Acorn and Fences as Stock Law Looms
In cold weather covercoats and gum shoes stay in fashion while farmers fix fences awaiting the fate of the stock law. Mr J M Terrell bought the Argent farm on the highte of New Salem and will move soon to prepare fine stock. The legislature again works on the dog law and merchants report new goods arriving for cash sales on March 17 1877.
