Two Injured In Moscow Mills Collision
Wallace Ijames 18 and Mrs. Edwin Himmel were injured in a collision on U S Highway 61 near Route C in Moscow Mills Saturday at 12 48 PM. Ijames driving a 1960 Ford pickup east on the cross section pulled into Himmel’s northbound 1971 Ford sedan, causing a front end impact. Both were treated at Lincoln County Memorial Hospital with head lacerations and bruises. Himmel released, Ijames admitted for observation.

Maryville College Held Centennial Commencement Ceremony
Maryville College celebrated its centennial with commencement on Friday May 18 led by Sister Harriet Switzer RSCJ president. Degrees awarded to 169 graduates include Carl Reed Wermuth 510 West College Troy who earned a Bachelor of Arts. The college founded 1872 by the Religious of the Sacred Heart is in West St. Louis County offering 34 fields of study with 800 students.

Bill Ramsey heads the Troy Chamber of Commerce for 1973 74 elected at the June meeting Monday night June 4 at the Texaco Inn. Ramsey will be installed in September with officers and directors named to two and three year terms.
