Claude Taylor Dies in Gilmore at 57
Claude Taylor longtime St. Charles County baseball figure died Wednesday night at his Gilmore home after a two month illness. He owned a Wabash Station agent post at Gilmore beginning in 1901 and mentored local teams and county all stars. Survived by his wife and two brothers, services set for Saturday at the Wentzville Methodist Church with burial in Linn Cemetery.
