Two Pilots Unhurt As Navy Jet Crashes Near Kingsville
Two Navy pilots escaped injury when their TA4J Skyhawk crashed and burned two miles northeast of Kingsville Naval Air Station on Tuesday May 22. Lt(jg) R. E. Smith and Ensign J. J. Krygiel ejected safely and a board of Navy officers was convened to investigate the accident. Krygiel is the son of Mrs. Ted Krygiel of Troy Missouri and has served since July 1972.
