Readlyn 25th Anniversary Observed in Readlyn
Readlyn community marked the 25th wedding anniversary of Mr. and Mrs. Lorenz Strottmann with a 4:30 p.m. dinner for 165 at Readlyn Community Building. A sermonette was given by Rev. Erick Dornbusch and a program by the couple’s children. Guests came from Sumner Waverly Elmhurst IL Denver Waterloo Cedar Falls Tripoli and Readlyn. The couple married October 5 1935 in Elmhurst Illinois and farm near Readlyn. They have four children Larry Readlyn Ronald Janice Joyce at home. Various locals helped with the meal and hosting duties.
