Grass weed control during spring and fall spraying tips
The guide advises using the amine form of 2.4-D for full effect and, if unavailable, the low-volatile ester form, avoiding volatile esters or mixes with 2.4,5-T or brush killers. Apply in late September or early October after a frost, rake the lawn, spray on a calm sunny day with 24 hours before or after rain, and spray until the plants are slightly moist.
