Last Tuesday a surprise party honored the Buchholz couple on their 49th wedding anniversary with attendees from Readlyn, Lawrence Arns, and nearby towns. Sunday open house for Will Blume near Readlyn drew Clara Rathe and Lawrence Arns. family visits and dinners followed. Clara Warnke underwent surgery at Scholtz Memorial Hospital.
