Funeral services for Charles H. Smith, 80, were held May 7 at Rettig Funeral Home with Rev. Keith D. Selberg officiating. Interment will be in Fremont cemetery on Thursday, May 38, with Lookout Masonic Lodge services. He died May 5 at Independence hospital after a lengthy illness. Born December 11, 1888, he was a lifelong Tri poli resident and a former cattle breeder.
