Mow Kentucky bluegrass higher in hot weather to two inches, irrigate weekly deeply, avoid light watering, and fertilize roses by August 1 for summer to fall use. Fertilizer around plant circles, watch for crabgrass, and apply complete fertilizers like 10-10-10 or 12-12-12. Also notes on tomato and other vegetables and several local baptisms and family gatherings.
