The Bremer County Board of Supervisors approves a 1976 Secondary Road Construction Program with 392000 dollars in projects. Three bridges will be replaced and three miles graded, funded by 43000 from Farm to Market and 349000 from the county fund, with a priority list through 1980.

Gloria Jordan seventeen, of Tripoli, suffered back and head injuries in a late Wednesday crash near Lawler. She and Matt Heller nineteen of rural Sumner were taken to New Hampton then Rochester MN hospital. Heller also injured head wounds and back lacerations. he was treated in Iowa City.
