Iowa Farm Bureau outlines five major legislative priorities
The Iowa Farm Bureau Federation reveals its program focusing on property tax replacement and related reforms. It seeks revenue sources for a $60 million tax relief plan, supports ag land tax credits, favors sub districting, highway funding protections, uniform daylight time with seasonal limits, and urges bicameral reapportionment changes. The organization backs certain education and farm product financing measures and opposes expanding road use tax funds for secondary roads.
