Christine Milius 83 of Waverly died Saturday at a local nursing home. Funeral services were held Tuesday at St. Pauls Lutheran Church in Waverly with burial in Harlington cemetery. She leaves three sons Ralph of Spring Lake Michigan Wilson of Denver and Paul missing in action in Southeast Asia, a daughter Mildred Beisner of Tripoli, a brother A C Strottman of Denver, a sister Adelia Thiemann of Waverly, 12 grandchildren and 20 great grandchildren.

Junior High Christmas Concert Presented by Tripoli Students
Tripoli Junior High students present a 7:30 p.m. Monday concert in the school auditorium featuring the Jr. High Band, 7th Grade Boys Chorus, 7th Grade Girls Chorus, and 8th Grade Combined Choruses. The 7th grade boys enact a Santa workshop skit, the girls perform a Christmas eve party, and the 8th graders showcase Mexican Christmas customs plus a piñata. The band plays two medleys and carols, ending with a finale by all. Refreshments sold during intermission by the 7th graders.
