Bremer Supervisors Back Shortest Route for I-380 Plan
Bremer County Supervisors pass a resolution endorsing the shortest Waterloo to Cedar Rapids corridor for Interstate 380 linking Northern Iowa with I-80. The route would save an estimated twelve million dollars yearly in travel costs and may extend I-380 via Waterloo and Cedar Falls toward Minneapolis-St. Paul to St. Louis. Tripoli Panthers girls defeated Stormont 61 43 on Tuesday night for their second win of the season. Sue Platte scored 32 points while Kay Rathbone contributed 11 rebounds and 9 blocks. Pantherette coach Dave Van Ahn urged improved free throws and consistency to boost the offense.
