Readlyn Council Advances Maintenance and Safety Upgrades
In a March 29 1973 special meeting with Bremer County officials the council discussed police protection contracts. By April 2 1973 minutes show approval of a 69100 yearly maintenance contract with Water Tower Paint and Repair Co and an OSHA safety equipment contract for the water tower ladder. The town accepted a bid of 20500 from Keith Fettkether for parcel of land in block 19 and listed numerous miscellaneous bills paid by the town.
