Preservation Hall Ambassadors to Perform in Local Gym
Elderly New Orleans musicians from Preservation Hall, including trumpets and clarinets, will perform traditional Dixieland jazz at Anevola High School Gym on November 3 at 8 p.m. Students with IDs free, others pay $1. The event highlights a fading era of classic jazz led by the Jaffes who revived the venue at 726 St. Peter Street.
