Winter Carnival honors at Tri State College crowning Mr. Tri State and Queen
James Buracree of Buffalo New York named Mr Tri State and Heather Wilson of Oshawa Ontario crowned Winter Carnival Queen at Tri State College in Angola Indiana. Snow sculpture entries won and shown with Humpty Dumpty first place by the Mechanical Engineering societies. Second place Jack and the Beanstalk by Kappa Sigma. Alpha Sigma Phi won first in the variety show with The Dating Game.

Howard Gilliam 1965 business act has joined the College as Associate Director of Alumni Affairs. He will coordinate matching gift programs, assist Reunion planning, and support alumni projects and student recruitment. Gilliam, former Tri State Campus leader, returns from Buffalo NY where he was Director of Material Control for Hercules Packing.

Winter Carnival 1967 Recap Highlights Snow Fun and Winners
Snow arrived sparking a successful carnival with heavy student participation. Alpha Sigma Phi won the humorous skit, Overwhelming Odds the best musical. SAE ME and ASTME took top Snow Sculpture honors. Heather Wilson won Winter Carnival Queen, Jim Biracree elected Student Senate President. Petitions for Student Senate offices due February 22 at the Dean of Students office.

Summer School Plans Urged by Tri-State College
memo notes that Summer School should be considered as selective service requires students to complete a quarter of their program annually and graduate in four years. Most Tri-State students should attend Summer School to stay on track. Engineering 50-54 hours yearly. Business 42-48. Spring Quarter Registration March 20-21 will survey Summer School plans.
