Roger Branigin to speak at Tri-State Commencement
D. Brannigin, Indiana governor 1965 1969, will address Tri State College during mid year graduation on Saturday December 15 and receive the honorary Doctor of Laws. President Dr Richard M Bateman will confer. Branigin is a Franklin College and Harvard Law School graduate active in legal business and politics in Indiana. He served in the Judge Advocate General's Department in World War II earning the Legion of Merit and attained Lt Colonel rank. He is a past Indiana State Bar president and member of state and local bars and major legal bodies.

The longtime trustee of Franklin College since 1937 and Purdue University from 1956 to 1960 has received honorary degrees from Franklin College Butler University Vincennes University and Indiana University. He chairs the Indiana Bicentennial Commission and serves on multiple committees while living in Lafayette Indiana and practicing law. The Tri-State College December class lists 130 graduates with some to finish in March 1974.

Students may pick up approved pre registration forms in the Registrar Office starting Friday. Forms not picked up will be mailed to home addresses. Bring these forms to Registration on Thursday January 3.

Ex-Tri-State star Roger Kindinger leads Fremonts young teams
Roger Kindinger, 6 7 former Tri-State College basketball standout, now coaches freshman basketball and teaches science at Fremont High School. He handles two junior high classes, a seventh grade science course, and multiple biology and physical science courses while directing a freshman squad. He also runs study halls and began athletics work this fall assisting football coach Jim Dilbone, helping Fremont tie its best record ever.
