Purdue helps with Grand Prix planning at Lafayette visit
Tri-State officials toured Purdue University in Lafayette for two days during quarter break. They met Chairman John Melin and Dennis Richardson plus faculty advisor Coleman to discuss scoring, track layout, safety, and insurance. They learned of Purdue’s $25,000 loan for track building and planned to obtain last year’s Grand Prix films for publicity.
