Broadwater County Republican Convention Called for September 23
The Broadwater County Republican Convention is called to meet at the court house in Townsend at 10:00 a m on Friday September 23 to select seven delegates and seven alternates to the state convention in Helena on September 24 1898 and to choose a county central committee. Precinct meetings will be held Saturday September 17 at 7 30 p m to elect delegates. The county committee has apportioned delegates among Canton Diamond Blackwell's Toston Lombard Jefferson River and Roma towns.
