Mining Notes On Gold Dust And Local Ores

The Gold Dust market outlook is muted with owners unlikely to act this winter. Fight men are employed on the Little Borenza as fine ore is mined and shipped. Hay Measurement Rule From J N Brown Drawn Sharply

The Bozeman Courier notes hay buyers trust a measurement rule from J N Brown. Measure height by subtracting width from overall length then halving. A 90 by 12 stack gives nine feet. A ton settles at 7 feet square, about 422 cubic feet. Brown sold about 15 tons and the overrun was 14 0 18.
