Asbestos Found Near Bishop's Creek Prospect
A party of prospectors located a large asbestos deposit 12 miles northeast of town along Bishop's creek. The claim runs about 2,500 feet long and over 100 feet wide, found below quartz rock while sinking. The Anaconda Mining Co. requested a sample for chemists to assess value. locators include William Studer John Larson Geo Noah and W H Estes.
