Townsend Montana fire limits ordinance regulates construction
Town ordinance 8 sets Townsend limits on Broadway Oak to Front and adjacent alleys as fire limits. It bans frame or non fireproof buildings, requires written permits with building plans and materials, and fines for violations. The measure takes effect after its passage and publication. The St Louis School closure and Townsend Lodge notices follow in the same issue.
