United States Bond Subscriptions Open for 200 Million Loan
The Treasury invites subscriptions for 200 million dollars of 3 percent bonds to fund war expenditures. Subscriptions run 32 days to July 14 1898 at 3 PM. Bonds issued in coupon and registered forms with varied denominations. Allotments favor individuals with smallest subscriptions first and allow installments for large purchases. Payment by post office money orders checks drafts or currency registered mail. Bonds dated August 1 1898 payable August 1 1914 with 3 percent interest.
