Young People's Society adjourns for summer in Townsend
The Young People's Christian Society suspends meetings for the summer due to many members moving away. They plan to resume the first Friday in October and aim to add a free reading room for young men to spend evenings, improving community literacy and providing a homelike space. The Iron Mask, a top mining property in the Park district, changed hands on June 1 to a eastern capitalists company. They plan to erect buildings and machinery to develop the mine and expect a rich harvest. The sale price was 20000 dollars. Former owners were J. E. Kanouse J. R.
