Duck Creek Notes on Farm Life and Visits
Jeff Doggett began haying at Duck Creek while Ed Anglen visited Burkhart's Sun day with his fast team. Graduation of Common School Pupils Draws Crowd
Proud parents and friends witnessed the common school commencement before a 300 strong audience. Valedictorian Floyd Lorentz received the salutatory, with essays by Misses McRae Kimpton Townsend Townsley and others. Diplomas were presented by County Superintendent Harrington as teachers were praised for their diligent work. Celery Gin Tonic advertised at Townsend hotel bar and Scott Dowell's.
