Last Monday R. F. Brooks faced a jury on insanity charges. found true and committed to the asylum. Notices include a masquerade ball, medicine advertisements for Chamberlain's Cough Remedy, obituary for Jas. Sullivan, school exhibition plans to fund an organ, and various local events and sermons.
Saturday night January 20 featured speeches music and a grand public installation of officers followed by a substantial banquet. Grand Master Workman Dr J S Hammond of Butte and Grand Recorder James Sullivan of Helena attended along with Mrs Hattie B Hunter and Miss Fox of Anaconda. Officers installed included W Henry Raymond M W Isom Previtt and others with Rev Edwin M Ellis named for Sabbath School aid in Montana.
The public school pupils stage a literary and musical program in Tierney's Hall on Friday evening February 2 1894 to raise funds for an organ. The catalog lists instrumental and vocal pieces plus recitations tableaux and dialogues. Admission is 50 cents adults 25 cents children.
The Whist Club enjoyed a lively Wednesday evening gathering as players showed rising skill and enthusiasm. Organizers noted interest will expand further with continued practice and experience.

The district court terms in Park and Meagher counties are set for specific Mondays in January April June October and February March September November.
