J H Deadmond of Townsend Meagher County Montana gives public notice of intent to apply to the Secretary of the Interior for a permit to cut fir and pine lumber from unsurveyed public lands in Meagher County. The land description includes a tract beginning near Brussels Cross ey on the Granger fork of Deep Creek with several blazed markers and corner trees noted. The timber is for domestic use and mining stalls, poles, and cord wood with an estimate of about 20 000 feet of lumber. First publication Jan 14 1897.
