Jury convicts Sullivan for petit larceny in county court
On the 27th inst F T McCormick filed a complaint in Justice Woods' court charging Don Sullivan with petit larceny from the day before He pleaded not guilty and demanded a jury trial A jury of six men found him guilty and he was sentenced to 60 days in the county jail A mittimus was issued Sheriff McKnight J E Kanouse defended plaintiff and Chas Baldwin defended Sullivan Ed Foster later arrested on the same charge but discharged when no prosecutor appeared and costs were charged to the plaintiff
