Notice to Herman Ranney and heirs that John Rothfus expended 700 on labor and improvements to the Pilot Belt quartz lode mining claim in Cedar Plains district Broadwater County Montana to hold for the year ending December 31 1879 1880 and that if the share is not contributed within ninety days after service or publication one third interest will vest in the claimant Rothfus as co owner.

Also bids invited for a four room schoolhouse in Broadwater County district No 7 with fireproof brick walls stone foundation and steam heating, with bids due April 8 1899.

He calls it the best for chapped hands and says he recommends it to friends. A separate notice advertises a 360 acre ranch for sale with implements and fencing in Hyatt and Coventy Montana Bankers.
A Hartford Connecticut user reports dreadfully nervous sensations and relief after using Karl’s Clover Root Tea. The remedy calmed nerves and strengthened the system, addressing constipation and kidney and bowel trouble. The testimonial notes rapid health restoration and cites Matthews’ Pharmacy as the seller.
Manchester Michigan resident recounts wife’s five year paralysis eased after two bottles of Electric Bitters. Ad touts the remedy as a cure for female complaints and related symptoms. Each bottle guaranteed for 50 cents and sold by Romig Bros. White tauss seed wheat listed for sale by R. H. Dean Townsend.
Soney Voter denounces improper action by Chairman Durnen who awarded the Winston jail contract to C. L. Sherman for $250 without bids or competitor input. Calls for halt to such procedures as public corruption visible in Winston. Dated Winston Mont April 17 1899.
