Arthur Dorland and university friends are home on a visw. John Byrd Jr was elected director at the annual school meeting replacing Allen Hedley who declined another term. Geo Gunn visited Saturday evening. A Stevens traveled to Helena on mining bonding business. Mr and Mrs Ward Sheriff of Magpie visit the Shannons. Mrs Kincaid to return from Portland. J A Rowand sent ore to the Dandy mill and praised the result.
David Connon and Charles Connon of Winston Montana filed for patent under mining laws for 1500 linear feet each of the Stray Horse and Richmond lodes in Beaver Creek mining district Jefferson county Montana Township 8 North Range 1 West Survey Nos 4825 and 4836 totaling 4044 acres.
