Railroads report high inquiry volume as Topeka prepares for a large festival week. Schedules and special cars are being discussed by agents from Santa Fe and other lines to accommodate expected visitors from across Kansas and nearby states.
The Lidice Festival committee held no meeting yesterday as the chairman presided. Mrs Sutton called for a large turnout at the next gathering at the entr house Monday at 1 o clock. She promised to reveal a plan to raise about 2600 dollars with committee help.
