Large turnout of German voters attended. Committee man John Randolph said they are confident but must win this out. Clyde has no local issues with three saloons under a monthly tax of 300. The Texas sails on work Oct. 20. The battleship Texas passed Sandy Hook for Philadelphia then to dry dock before voyage to Manila and Porto Rico, with stores aboard.
