New London March 20 A fogbound crash on Long Island Sound between the City of Taunton and Plymouth, carrying 500 passengers and 200 crew, killed at least six. Bodies found in the wreckage included John McCarthy and Snow Coleman. The Plymouth lay fast to the wharf but the City of Taunton sank after ramming its starboard side into Plymouth. Captain Davis declined comment as rescue and recovery began.
