Mrs Daniel Cloud of 628 Lime street reports her 12 year old son Willis Cloud was abducted by a man named Frank Howard. Howard lured the boy on July 6 and remains at large. Police seek to locate the boy and return him to his grieving mother who cannot offer a reward.

London July 12 The Bimetallic League of Great Britain held its annual meeting at the Canon Street hotel. The report says progress toward international bimetallism in Britain and abroad with France Belgium and Prussia cited. It notes U S sentiment favoring silver remonetization and reports remarks by Lord Aldenham Lord Lidderdale and General Walker on the currency issue and gold standard prospects.
