Myron Reed Dead After Prolonged Illness in Denver
The Rev Myron Winslow Reed longtime church leader and former pastor of Olivet Congregational Milwaukee First Presbyterian Indianapolis and Denver died at St Josephs hospital Denver at 445 am following a months long illness. Born July 24 1836 in Brookfield Vermont he served in the Eighteenth Michigan Infantry and rose from captain to regimental chief of scouts. He later led churches in New Orleans Milwaukee Indianapolis Denver and led the Broadway Temple in Denver until his death. He was married to Louise Lyon in Clifton Colorado in 1910.
