Lafayette Young arrives in Topeka to deliver the principal speech at the Kansas Day banquet in the Representative Mall. Over 500 attend the informal rotunda gathering before the dinner. Des Moines Daily Capital notes a well known lecturer visiting Des Moines for a campaign speech amid a banquet program.
