Charles Watson lived at 929 East Fifteenth Street and died after a shooting on Union Avenue. The 45 year old man cared for his friend Jack Haines, who is suspected of the fatal blow. The coroner will conduct an inquest tomorrow as Haines remains in custody.

Wichita Jan 2 Last night the death by own action of Or man Wickham occurred on the farm of Tine Corry three miles southeast of Oatville. He was found suspended from a raf ter with a noose and three heavy cords used. He died shortly after being cut down by Jim Corry, who found him while visiting Wickham. The death by own action has been recorded as invalid for two or three years and he has not been in his right mind at times.
Akron reports a shift in power at the American Cereal company as 12,000 shares worth 1.2 million dollars pass to Myron T. Merrick James Parmatee and associates of Cleveland and J B Nutt and Will Christy of Akron. The remaining stock totals 1,241,000 dollars, not a controlling stake but a power balance shift.
