The sundry civil appropriation bill for 1895-96 was completed by the House appropriation committee. It proposes total allocations of 55,040,021 dollars, with funds for repairs and preservation of public buildings in Portland, Pueblo, San Francisco, Sioux City, a 500,000 dollar harbor project, fish propagation, and enforcement measures including alien contract labor and Chinese exclusion act provisions.
