Iola Kansas June 6 The Register reports temporary injunctions were secured yesterday against eleven joints in Allen County and against the building owners. The move, led by W J Hendricks president of the Law and Order League, warns of fines from 100 to 500 and jail terms up to six months for noncompliance.
Representative Curtis of Kansas narrowly escaped serious harm after dinner Tuesday when he fell ill and took an emetic. An investigation found some tomatoes at the meal were poisoned. He recovered enough to meet the president and attend the reception the next day.
Butte Mont January 9 A special to the Miner from Billings states the Burlington railroad company has received seven great rails for a branch line from Willings to Great Falls. Active work will begin soon as bridge men from Burlington are in Billings to inspect the proposed route for bridge construction. Weather indications forecast moderate temperatures with variable winds for tonight and Friday. Cincinnati weather details show a range around 30s to mid 40s. Zelaya Has a Walkover in Nic Arguez election count with J Zelaya praised for decisive lead despite opposition.
