They decided to issue a public address on irrigation legislation and Col KH J Hinton will publish two books on irrigation.

Washington Jan 3 The District of Columbia Court of Appeals overruled Judge Cole in the case of stock brokers Messia Chapman and MacCartney who refused to testify before the Sugar investigating committee. The ruling denied their demurrer to the government indictment and upheld the testifying conflict over individual speculations.
United Garment Workers issue circular to clothing manufacturers in New York demanding an eight hour work day. If not granted, about 20,000 workers may strike with support from the tailors’ brotherhood in case of action.
