The plan covers the company's property including franchises and lines to secure $120,000,000 five percent gold bonds. Directors seek authority to mortgage the railroad and property of the late East Tennessee, Virginia and Georgia Road for $4,500,000 at five percent interest, due Sept 1, 19__, gold payable, with these bonds to replace prior equipment and income bonds on foreclosure.
