Hurt by a corn cutter near Lockhart injures leg
George Lockhart, a young man three miles east of the city, was severely cut while assisting a corn cutter yesterday afternoon. The knife severed a tendon below the calf, flesh stripped back several inches, but the large artery remained uninjured. Dr. H. W. Roby treated the wound and advised against amputation.
