In Fort Scott Kansas on Thursday August 22 at 6 20 pm two Black men about 20 entered the home of retired businessman William H Taylor and threatened his wife Mrs Taylor who fled to a store to raise help. A Black man was arrested in Parsons and another in Fort Scott with a mistaken identity incident and a crowd gathered at the jail.
